Erode (smooth mug)

A simple and smooth mug for your everyday coffee. Made out of porcelain with transparent glaze. Gustaf Sweden logo stamp at the bottom. Dishwasher safe. Handmade in Stockholm, Sweden.

Technique: The mug is casted in porcelain. The shape is made by water dripping on clay for a long time. The water has eroded the clay and created the rounded bottom. The process uses the built-in chance in the forces of nature. The method is used as an artistic expression. Primitive and extraordinary at the same time. Fired to 1280°C.
