Sway (cup)

A clean and simple grip-friendly cup with handle for your everyday cappuccino. Made out of porcelain with transparent glaze. Gustaf Sweden logo stamp at the bottom. Dishwasher safe. Handmade in Stockholm, Sweden.

Technique: The cup is thrown thin in porcelain and delicately deformed in the wet state giving its shape. Attached ear shaped handle. The process itself makes every cup similar but slightly different depending on the state of the clay. The method is used as an artistic expression. Primitive and extraordinary at the same time. Fired to 1280°C.
