Quake (milk jug)

A clean and simple grip-friendly milk jug for your everyday dairy. Made out of porcelain with transparent glaze.Gustaf Sweden logo stamp at the bottom. Dishwasher safe. Handmade in Stockholm, Sweden.

Technique: The jug is thrown thin in porcelain and delicately shaken and deformed in the wet state giving its shape. Thereafter, each jug has been individually glazed. The process itself makes every jug similar but slightly different depending on the state of the clay. The method is used as an artistic expression. Primitive and extraordinary at the same time. Fired to 1280°C.
