The mustard knife (lava)

A clean and simple butter knife that highlights the mustard in your table setting. Made out of speckled unglazed stoneware with glazed blade. Gustaf Sweden logo stamp on the blade. Dishwasher safe. Handmade in Stockholm, Sweden.

Technique: Extruded clay coils are cut and pressed at a certain angle to provide the blade. The process itself makes every knife similar but slightly different depending on the pressure and angle. The method is used as an artistic expression. Primitive and extraordinary at the same time. Fired to 1280°C.
