Erode (espresso)

A raw mug for your everyday espresso. Made out of porcelain with transparent glaze on the inside. Gustaf Sweden logo stamp at the bottom. Dishwasher safe. Handmade in Stockholm, Sweden.

Technique: The mug is casted in porcelain. The shape is made by water dripping on clay for a long time. The water has eroded the clay and created the rough texture and shape. The process uses the built-in chance in the forces of nature. The method is used as an artistic expression. Primitive and extraordinary at the same time. Fired to 1280°C.
