Massif (salt cliff)

Two small mountains that delivers salt to your dining table. Use it for all kinds of fine grounded salts. The salt is filled from the bottom and sealed with a rubber plug. Made out of porcelain with transparent and black/blue painted glaze. Gustaf Sweden logo stamp at the bottom. Dishwasher safe. Handmade in Stockholm, Sweden.

Technique: The salt container is casted in porcelain with transparent glaze, then freely painted with a black/blue glaze. Each piece has been glazed and decorated individually. The process itself makes every piece similar but slightly different depending on how the glaze is painted. The method is used as an artistic expression. Primitive and extraordinary at the same time. Fired to 1280°C.
