Sway (white splash)

A clean and simple grip-friendly mug for your everyday coffee. Made out of porcelain with transparent and black/blue splashed glaze. Gustaf Sweden logo stamp at the bottom. Dishwasher safe. Handmade in Stockholm, Sweden.

Technique: The mug is thrown thin in porcelain and delicately deformed in the wet state giving its shape. Thereafter, each cup has been glazed and decorated individually. The process itself makes every mug similar but slightly different depending on the state of the clay. The method is used as an artistic expression. Primitive and extraordinary at the same time. Fired to 1280°C.
